With the uplifting & inspirational sounds of disco ringing out across dance floors Worldwide, Quantize Recordings are proud to present the stunning rework of Jean Carn’s ‘Was That All It Was’ impeccably recreated by John Morales, Thommy Davis & Richard Burton.

Originally released in 1979 on Gamble & Huff’s iconic Philadelphia International label, these brand-new reworks pay total homage to the original with Richard’s rich & soulful vocals adding an almost Teddy Pendergrass influenced vibe - the perfect marriage to John & Thommy’s delightful arrangement.

Alongside John’s M+M remixes, label execs Spen & Thommy add their dance floor ‘oomph’ to the mix, keeping all the elements of the originals firmly in place but adding in a slightly more direct drum arrangement - killer stuff from every angle.
