"So Cool" is the second song that south african legacy TAMARA DEY and the edgy german producers collective THE PLANETOIDS created within a time span of one week. After writing their hit "APPETITE" together in a sweaty and tiny space of a fancy airb'n'b's cinema room, they immediately knew: THE PLANETOIDS couldn't just fly back to Germany without writing atleast one more song with the Johannesburg disco queen. Having dinner together the day before the session over a couple of glasses of red wine, the conversation spiraled towards people that like to tell half-truths to boost their social positions, manipulating reality in a way that was somewhere between a lie and the truth. This ended up being the inspiratioin for "So Cool" - a track about being so fascinated by this "web of lies" that you almost don't want the other person to stop exagerating, just because it's so entertaining.
