Tiefschwarz’s Souvenir Music continues its strong run of releases with their next EP from Naples native, Dast.
First coming through from obscurity In 2012, together with fellow French-Italian DJ Julien Sandre, their track Wanna Be was picked up for a Various Artists compilation on Jamie Jones’ imprint, Hot Creations. Since then Dast has received support from Jamie and DJs above and beyond, consolidating him as a promising young talent in dance music.
Following releases for Liebe* Detail, Cocoon Recordings, OFF Recordings and Luca Agnelli's label Etruria Beat further planted Dast in the public domain with his tracks being heralded by Marco Carola, Locodice, Carl Cox, Derrick May, and Sven Vath.
On this brand new EP, Emozioni, he returns to energetic form with four slabs of upfront house and techno, complete with a remix from Magit Cacoon.
This new release sees his sound mature and gather even greater depth and atmosphere, full of playful, shimmering house vibes, sure to leave the dancefloor entangled in its groove and rolling bass-lines.‘
The original cuts are underpinned by a funked-out remix by Tel Aviv’s incredible Magit Cacoon - taking the original and turning it into an exemplary drum workout with house elements and undeniable groove.
