Black Villain is a music Producer, DJ and Vocalist from Johannesburg East, South Africa, specializing in the realms of Soulful House, Deep House, Funk and Disco.

Black – symbolizes the mystery of the story she plans to share with the world through her art, the strength she gets from music and her determination to display her mastered skills in turntablism.

Villain – symbolizes her dark side that cannot be expressed with the naked eye, but through the immortality of her sound. Her musical escapades list her as one of the future stars within Southern African dance music. She has made her mark in the South African underground music scene in a very short space of time, performing in major events all across Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and Mpumalanga, and has featured on some of the biggest DJ platforms in South Africa such as Metro FM’s Urban Beat, Best Beats.TV and Deep Obsession Recordings Podcast.

She has released 3 singles to date, namely “Brown Skin" (which peaked at number 27 on the Traxsource Essential Soulful Chart), "Asante" and "Direction" and has a forthcoming Debut EP on her label titled "A Universe On Its Own".
